I finally made the call today
I am willing
A flash of optimism

Thirty years or thirty days
Wired to win
I of sound mind and body

I can't stop the meandering
Thoughts and that self defensive thing
Fear of the unexpected, unknown
of being cast away

And now you've got to sit and wait
Languishing
So much hope in somebody
That you pay

Don't go negative at least it's happening
It's a changing day for me
