Shots were fired on the TV last night
I tried to turn it down but it kept
coming around again

And the cops were lined up on the sidewalk
waiting for something to break but nothing happened
The crime scene photos and paper work
did themselves

It was a long day
I washed the hours away
with the TV

I know you were sleeping
I know it disturbs you
That damn TV you say
every morning
