PCV Oil Catch Tank (air compressor mod)

A couple of weeks ago, while the engine was torn apart, I noticed lots of gunk, carbon, oil, you know... gunk in the intake manifold. This modification adds a small catch tank to the PCV line to seperate oil vapors from the air passing through. By the way, I made the mounting bracket out of a bracket that is used to mount a light fixture in its electrical box. I flattened it, bent the 90 degree side and then wrapped it in electrical tape.

You can see here that this is just a Husky brand water seperator from Home Depot, made to remove the water from the air compressor. It's got a nice little filter on the output line. Hopefully, that helps catch a little more of the oil that didn't get seperated.
